Part-time lecturer at AUC
19 Jul 2011
The appointment is a result of the close cooperation
between VMO, the Arab Air
Carriers Organization (AACO) and The American University in Cairo
(AUC) which looks after the accreditation of the Aviation
Management diploma courses offered by AACO.
VMO Aviation Consultants
Limited has contributed two of eight courses to the Diploma
programme. The first one is the "Introduction to International
Aviation and Air Law" and is a six day course that gives the
student a good grounding in the way the Aviation industry works.
This course is the cornerstone of the Diploma programme and
requires the student to complete and submit a short research
project and an exam to gain the diploma. The other course is
"Managing an Airline Station" and has a duration of five days. Both
courses are well received by the students. The Aviation Management
Diploma with AUC requires candidates to complete eight courses of
which 4 subjects are mandatory and 4 are elective. The
"Introduction to International Aviation and Air Law" is a
mandatory one and the "Managing an Airline Station" is a course
that can be chosen by the candidates out of a list of ten
subjects.
